Activity 1: Meet Course Faculty and Introduce Yourself

This course is designed for teachers wishing to teach online students. As you are well aware this learning environment is different from the regular 'bricks and mortar' school. This course requires that you reflect on and discuss your current knowledge and understanding of online learning. You will not only have the opportunity to reflect on what constitutes good teaching and learning but will also explore ways to apply this knowledge to your own professional practice.

Each of you will bring a varied array of skills to share based on your personal and professional experience.  You will be expected to participate fully in all course activities

Activity 2: Introduction Forum

Take a few minutes and write some basic information about yourself in the Introduction Forum.  Share important information such as professional experiences, passions, recognitions, achievements, hobbies and family stories.  Please be sure to include some basic demographic information (work position, where you live, etc.).

Upload an image that you would like to share with others in this Introductory Forum.  Later you will be asked to upload a photo to your profile - if you prefer do so there as well now.
