In Gradebook (MyEd)

The first step in writing a report card is going to MyEd and ensuring that your Gradebook entries are accurate.

Log on to MyEd and go to your Gradebook.  Review the assignments, quizzes, etc. and the marks you've assigned to your students.  Are you satisfied that they are correct?

Click Post Grades:  Take a look a the grade that MyEd has calculated based on these entries and the rules that you gave it around various activities and their weights.  Does this final mark make sense?

Remember, as a professional teacher, you can adjust the calculated score with reason.  Sometimes, based on your classroom experiences, you will want to increase a student's achieved score before posting to the report card.  Adjust percentages accordingly and if desired.

Next, add a work habit mark.  The back of a Ministry report card explains what each work habit mark reflects.  It is a good idea to consult that.
